The 3P Zisternen Filter (or ZF) has an efficient 2 stage filter unit which first filters the leaves and larger debris, then passes the partly cleaned water over a fine mesh to remove other dirt. The VF1 is an efficient filter suitable for roof areas of up to 500 square metres. Water flows over a 2 stage stainless steel cascade, filtering to 0.55 mm. It is frost resistant and mostly self cleaning, requiring only minimal maintenance. The filter insert is easily removed for cleaning. In cases where leaves and other dirt cannot be discharged to waste the VF1 is available with a dirt retention basket fitted. An telescopic extension tube is also available to allow the VF1 to be installed up to 750 mm below ground level, this accessory is highly recommended for most installations.
