The 3P TC-S1 precisely manages the topping up of mains water into the rainwater storage tank. It opens the solenoid valve if the water level is lower than the metal sensor in the rainwater tank. The rainwater tank is filled with mains water until the water level recovers to the lowest end of the metal sensor and continues for a time of at least 8 seconds. The solenoid valve plugs into the TC-S1’s front socket and the TC-S1 plugs into an ordinary 240V mains socket, using the supplied adapter.

Precise Top-up

Safety Shut Off
The TC-S1’s safety shut-off closes the solenoid valve if the unit has been topping-up for more
than an hour. This prevents the unit from topping up indefinitely should there be a problem, such as a leak in the rainwater tank.
Solenoid Valve Testing
The TC-S1 flushes the solenoid valve periodically every week for 5 seconds to prevent blockages.

The 3P Tundish and bracket act as an air-gap in the system – meeting UK water regulations against the cross-contamination of mains water supply
