This pump can function either submerged or above water, but is primarily designed for submerged applications. The professional build quality incorporates high quality steel bearings in brass mountings, reliable electronics, and strong internal components, making it suitable for more demanding applications and high duty cycles such as below ground tanks, commercial or irrigation use.

The Multi-Stage Impeller produces a higher rate of flow.

The electronic flow control responds to the pressure in the outlet pipe. As the user draws water by opening a tap or similar, the pump starts, turn it off and the pump cuts out automatically. The SteelPump is designed for pumping clean water only and should therefore be used with an intake strainer or floating inlet.
